Subject: Deep etching thick glass.]

Many thanks for sharing your ideas and experience, it is appreciated.

A light but firm surface etch would seem the best way to go. Having
considered the possibility of localised weakening in a panel of glass by
deep etching, also the sharp edges at the edge of the stencil, it would be
quite dangerous to have something like close to bare skin in a shower
installation.

So having discussed these various issues with the client, she agrees that a
lightly abraded surface would be a safe solution and longer-lasting than
screenprinting the image onto the glass.

Many thanks to all who contributed to the discussion, hopefully this chapter
can sit in the archive and be of use to others in the future.

Bye for now,

Paul Stevenson
