Hi,
I didn't get a chance to respond earlier. If this is the message about the
shower door- your safest and best alternative is to surface etch the glass first
and then get it tempered.
In regards to laminated safety glass. I work on it all the time and do deep
carving with no problem. I don't, however, etch to the laminate. There is an
artist that displays work in the Corning Museum that does that, but uses the
laminate creatively. If I need to carve deeper, I get thicker laminated glass.

Does anyone have experience in sand carving stainless steel. We want to put
words and a diagram onto a piece of stainless steel and then paint fill it.
Would love to talk to someone with experience.
