The List
Rayzist has started an email discussion list for the sandcarving industry. This list is
designed to provide a forum for sandcarvers to discuss all aspects of the
industry. We encourage you to ask the other list members about their past experiences. We will try to answer any technical questions that arise.
What is a discussion list?
Email discussion lists are communities of people formed around a topic of common
interest, and have been around since the beginning of the Internet they are
often referred to as "mailing lists". A mailing
list allows people to send email to each other easily. Instead of sending email
to everyone on the list (or checking in with a bulletin board or chat room), subscribers of a mailing list can send their email to
one address, which will then automatically send the message to everyone else. In
our case the email address would be sandcarving@egroups.com.
You can choose to receive messages in their standard form, or in a
digested format. For most people the digested format is most
desirable because you only receive one message from the group each day.

Here are some of the archives from the mailing list. Archives
at eGroups will most likely be more up to date. To access the
eGroups archives you need to be a member of the mailing list.
