The key to success – Sacrifice
I have been overwhelmed with people thanking us for our new website. You know I want to thank everybody for their comments and let you know that it’s all of you that make us successful.
You know I have been thinking a lot about what our country is going through and how it has affected business; it is harder today than ever before. Our company has felt the effects of this. When people tend to buy less, it shows up.
What do we do? Well I have pledged to our employees that I’m not laying anyone off, as these fine people have made us what we are. We have, however, had to tighten spending and also re-evaluate our needs versus wants…
We have had to look at all aspects of the business and make some tough decisions. For example, we stopped our cleaning service and are having an employee clean bathrooms. I have also taken out equity in my building to help with cash flows. Those are two extremes…
If you are a business owner, remember this: we must make sacrifices during this time. Be careful not to think, “well if I lay a few people off, I can make it.” Use that option only as a last resort. These people need jobs. If we can make some adjustments and keep them, they will in turn be very thankful to you. And remember, thankful people are productive people.
Too many business owners are only concerned with bottom lines, and forget about sacrifice. If we are willing to sacrifice for others, it will come back to us in more ways than you can ever imagine. I believe we will make it; our country and its people will get through this difficult time, but we have to start thinking and being a little more positive—because it’s contagious.

It is very refreshing to hear your attitude concerning not laying off your most important resource (Your employees).
It is also great to find something still made in the USA.
I am always looking for saying to blast on stone and other stuff. Thanks for
your contribution. (Think Positive, it’s Contagious)

Howdy Randy,
As usual, you’ve hit the nail on the head! That’s why you are as successful as you are. It’s amazing how many business owners don’t follow this simple yet highly intelligent way of doing business. It’s also the right thing to do! Much success to you in the new year and Merry Christmas to you, your family and everyone @ Rayzist.
Your Friend,
-Rob

Randy,
I noticed on Adam’s Facebook message that your website had been re-created. So, I wanted to take a look and see what wonderful work my son-in-law did. Now, I know a bit more about Rayzist’s products and services. I guess Facebook pays off sometimes! I read your blog and agree that saving jobs keeps the circle going. I also am committed to helping those I know as well as local businesses survive at this time. I’ll be keeping my eyes open to see where I can share what you do. Ultimately, we know God’s Word and His blessing endures forever. Thanks for taking a stand.
Sincerely,
Denise

Just completed a very large, rushed job today. While most of my resist are hand carved, this job required exact reproduction of several logos. I found some 25mil and 3 mill SR-2000 in my file drawers . Also had some bottles of glue purchased from Rayzist. The amazing thing was that they were all 7 or 8 years old. I took a chance and exposed and developed. Worked perfectly!! All the work was done on equipment that was purchased 15 or 20 years ago from your company..All have hundreds of hours of operating time with almost no upkeep. Only the foot valves are getting to the replacement point. The equipment is still being used almost every day, without any down time. The wash out unit is showing a little rust, but still functions very well. This equipment has paid for itself many times over. I have been doing business with Rayzist since they started. Billy, Art and many others have been so helpful as well as good friends these many, many years. Please give everyone my regards.
Just wanted you to know the real quality of your equipment and service.
Thanks
